Partnerships

The government, through the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs
finances a large part of the NO 2014 project (salaries) from central government funds.

The University of Oslo (UiO)
finances the rest of the project (running costs and salaries for four posts). The project is linked administratively to the Department of Scandinavian Studies and Comparative Literature at UiO.

The Unit of Digital Dokumentation (EDD), Faculty of Arts, UiO
develops IT tools for the project.

Det Norske Samlaget, Oslo
is the publisher of Norsk Ordbok. It was this publishing house that initiated work on the dictionary in 1929.

Norvegian University of Science and Tecnology (NTNU), Trondheim
provides office space, infrastructure and technical support for four people working on NO 2014.
